In summer 2023, I set a big goal for myself: throw 50 mugs on the wheel. This mug is a result of that challenge. Blue Hare is one of my all time favorite glazes offered by the pottery studio I attend, Bozeman Community Kiln. On brown stoneware, it takes on a minty green quality. This mug has a few glaze discrepancies, making it perfectly unique. One of my favorites of those discrepancies are speckles of turquoise on the interior of the mug, leaving a little surprise for you after you finish your morning coffee.
