My DIY wedding round-up

If you’re planning a wedding, you’ve probably heart that there are two types of brides: a buy bride and a DIY bride.

I was definitely a DIY bride. My husband and I had a limited budget but a big imagination, and going the DIY route just seemed to make sense for us. If you’re thinking about being a DIY bride, you got this!

For my wedding, my husband and I DIYed:

save the dates & invitations

the welcome sign

favors

place cards

bridesmaid getting ready outfits

cuff links and tie clips

& the florals.

And the only one that I regret were the florals. If I could go back in time and tell myself what a headache trying to do our own flower arrangements ended up being, it would have been worth the cost of paying a florist to assemble our florals. It ended up taking almost all of the morning of the wedding, and most of my bridesmaids, to put them together.

A DIY wedding is not for everybody, but if it is for you, I promise you will not regret it. I had a blast crafting for my wedding, and each project I completed, I was more and more excited for the event.

Comment down below what you’re planning on DIYing for your wedding, I would love to hear all about it!
